Cloudflare has launched a tool helping website owners control and monetize access from AI bots and crawlers, which now represent 1% of internet traffic. Features include an analytics dashboard showing which AI services access content, permission management for blocking specific bots, and monetization options. The tool also includes "AI Labyrinth," which generates fake content to confuse unauthorized bots. Major AI crawlers identified include Bytespider, Amazonbot, ClaudeBot and GPTBot. This initiative aims to help content creators maintain control over their intellectual property in the AI era.
