Applied Digital has formed a 15-year, $7 billion partnership with CoreWeave to develop AI data centers in Ellendale, North Dakota. The agreement includes a 250-megawatt facility to be built in phases, with the first 100 MW operational by late 2025 and the remaining 150 MW by mid-2026. CoreWeave has an option for an additional 150 MW by 2027. The Ellendale campus could potentially expand to one gigawatt capacity. Applied Digital's stock responded positively to the announcement, which secures approximately $467 million in annual revenue and positions North Dakota as an emerging AI infrastructure hub.
