Wayve, a leading developer in Embodied AI for autonomous driving, announced it has signed a letter of intent with NVIDIA to evaluate a substantial $500 million strategic investment in its upcoming funding round[1][3]. This proposed investment builds upon NVIDIA’s prior involvement in Wayve’s Series C round, demonstrating deepening confidence in innovative AI-powered mobility solutions.
Wayve’s next-generation autonomous driving platform—Wayve Gen 3—will be built on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor architecture, powered by NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and running safety-certified NVIDIA DriveOS. This hardware-software synergy, reinforced by the NVIDIA Halos safety system, is expected to propel Wayve’s capabilities toward Level 3 (eyes-off) and Level 4 (driverless) autonomy over both urban and highway domains[1].
Alex Kendall, CEO and Co-founder of Wayve, stated: “Continued support from a global technology leader like NVIDIA underscores confidence in our AV2.0 approach to building embodied AI and its potential to transform the future of mobility.”[1]
